Website Design Ordering and Timescales
During our initial consultation, we will discuss your general website design requirements and timescales. We will then supply a FREE estimate based on those discussions. If you decide to go ahead, we will book your website design project and request any initial payment. We work to a three phase structure - payment is required at the beginning of each phase until completion.
Phase 1 - Website Design
Following receipt of your initial payment, we will ask you to complete our Web Design Questionnaire to help you plan and communicate your design requirements effectively. Your completed questionnaire will form a brief for us to follow when designing an initial web layout concept. You will also need to provide any materials (text and images) for us to work from. Once we have completed your website concept (usually 1 to 2 weeks), you can view the design online via our private client area. Discussions on how best to proceed will then take place until we settle on your finalised website design.
Phase 2 - Website Construction
We will invoice you for the second instalment and, upon receipt of payment, we will begin to build your website. Any search engine optimisation will be carried out and all pages will be written and constructed efficiently to give your web site the best possible chances in the rankings. We will inform you when there are updates to your site so you can view the progress online until all your pages are finalised and ready for submission.
Phase 3 - Website Submission
We will invoice you for the third instalment and, upon receipt of payment, we will submit your website to the major search engines. Please allow a few days for this process and a minimum of twelve weeks for your website to be “visible” to the search engines. This timescale is quite normal and, unfortunately, out of our control! Your website will be fully accessible during this time - simply enter the address in any internet browser.
